Short bio
Israel "Izzy" Nwachineke is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and the creator of The Wealth Ward, where he makes UK personal finance plain-English for NHS staff and anyone on a UK wage. He built the Money Vitals app and wrote Financial First Aid for Overworked Professionals (2026).
Longer bio
Izzy trained as a nurse in Nigeria, moved to the UK at the end of 2021 and learned the UK money system payslip by payslip. Seven years into nursing, and now leading a team on an NHS mental health ward, he saw how often money stress sat underneath the burnout around him. Through The Wealth Ward he shares straight talk on pay, pensions, budgeting and debt across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and his newsletter, and coaches people one to one. His principle: financial literacy is preventative mental healthcare. The Wealth Ward is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS.
