What I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Written in plain English.

Who I am

This website is run by Israel Nwachineke, trading as The Wealth Ward ("I", "me"). I'm the data controller for the personal information collected through thewealthward.co.uk. You can contact me about anything on this page at thewealthwardfinance@gmail.com.

Please don't send me health information, bank account numbers or card details through the contact form or by email. If money and mental health overlap for you, that's completely understandable; we can talk about it on a call instead.

If you choose to tell me about your health during coaching, I'll only write it in your session notes with your explicit consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Health information is special category data under UK GDPR, so I treat it with extra care and never share it.

Money Vitals and your numbers

The figures you type into the free calculator on this site and into the Money Vitals app stay in your own browser or device. They aren't sent to me.

Who else handles your data

I use a small number of trusted services to run things. They only process your data to provide their service:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions.
  • Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for Money Vitals and processes payments; their own privacy policy applies to checkout.
  • Calendly handles bookings for triage calls; Google provides my email and Google Meet.
  • Substack runs my newsletter; when you subscribe there, Substack's privacy policy applies.

Some of these companies are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.

I don't sell your data, and I don't share it with anyone for their marketing.

Cookies

This website doesn't set any cookies of its own and doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are hosted on this site, so your visit isn't shared with a font provider. I use Netlify's built-in analytics to count page views and visitors. It works from the server logs, sets no cookies and doesn't identify you personally. Calendly, Lemon Squeezy and Substack may set their own cookies when you visit them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask me to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how I use it; or send it to you in a portable format. If you gave consent (for example, the book list), you can withdraw it any time. Email thewealthwardfinance@gmail.com and I'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

This site and my services are for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of the page.
